Use of the software

WePrintEasy is provided without any warranty that the software is suitable for a particular purpose or a particular system environment. We strongly recommend that you

• first test the software on a test system before using it on production servers, and
• create a backup or snapshot of the affected servers before every installation and every update.

On the servers where it is installed, WePrintEasy changes, among other things, users’ printer settings, registry values, scheduled tasks and – if selected – Remote Desktop Services policies and certificate stores. Installing, configuring and using the software is the responsibility of the respective administrator or operator.

Limitation of liability

Insofar as the software is provided free of charge, we are liable – in accordance with the provisions on gifts (§§ 521, 524 of the German Civil Code, BGB) – only for intent and gross negligence; we are liable for defects of the software only if we fraudulently concealed them.

In any case, liability for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health, liability under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz) and liability for fraudulently concealed defects remain unaffected.

Insofar as the licence terms of the software (MIT) provide for a further exclusion of warranty and liability, this applies only to the extent permitted under German law.
